A Load Correction Device is designed to improve the performance of LED lights when dimming. It is a common problem to observe flickering or jagged dimming on certain light circuits, especially when attempting to dim a single downlight or a very small LED load. The Load Correction Device, also called a capacitor, prevents the flickering of LED lights, and smoothens out the dimming performance.

There are two ways a Load Correction Device is used:

In general, applying a load correction device has other benefits including:

  1. Reduced Demand Charges
  2. Improvement in Voltage
  3. Reduced Power System Losses
